I've seen many, many blogs over the last few years and I've decided to join the "blogosphere". My main motivation for doing so is to document these sweet, silly, fleeting moments of couplehood and parenthood. I have read mommy blogs which I love, and while I'm no writer I'm going to try.
I was blessed with being able to live with my sister, Geri, and nephew, Hunter, at my parent's house after college but before Randall and I married. During the time living in that crazy household I witnessed and experienced some precious time with Hunter as a toddler. My mother and I often laughed as we saw his innocent and funny personality blossom. We frequently said "we need to write these things down!" However, sadly, I don't think we ever did--or if we did it was out of context and no longer makes sense.
Now that Randall and I have been married for 5 1/2 years and we have our Elliebelle who is 18 months old it's becoming very clear that we are generating memories faster than I think our brains can hold! There is a lot of fun and love in this house. I want to freeze time right now in my life! But, since that's not possible it is my hope that I can capture some of the daily smiles Ellie and Randall give me.
